Holidays and fun

Once again we have been busy but this time it was not such hard work for me!!!. Here I am seeing Grandma off at the airport (with Papa) as she went to Uganda to build a school room - her first trip overseas. Doesn't she look brave. She returned safe and sound and has lots of tales to tell of her time there

Then in October, we went on a long driving holiday. Here I am in the car having a fun time. It wasn't always fun though as I spent a lot of time in this very seat. Teddy was a good companion though and Mum and Dad say I was very good in the car

We stayed with Anne (Medowie) and Great Grandma and Morrie (Lismore) on the way. Then we spent a some time with Elissa, Tien and Claire in Brisbane while Daddy went to work. Claire and I got on very well again. Here we are sharing her toys.

We went to the park and had a go on the swings

Then Mum and Auntie Eli rode us around on this crazy bike on a track which was fun. Mum had a bit of trouble as she has a big tummy now. She tells me there is a baby in there but I will believe it when I see it!!!

Dad and I admired the view of Brisbane. (Can't remember the name of the lookout)

And I played on some more play equipment - I am getting pretty daring.

Then we met Mike, Hannah and Josiah and drove up to Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Josiah and I were happy because there was a great little park just down the road from us. We spent many happy hours there.

I remembered how much I love the beach when we went to Maroochydore Beach. Playing in the sand is almost as much fun as being in the water but not quite. I loved the waves splashing up on me.

We did some sight seeing. Josiah and I went in the pram together. He was much more patient at being in the back than me

I loved playing with Josiah. We spent a fair bit of time running around together and playing with the toys

We also saw some of the local things. Of course we went to the Big Pineapple.

And we went on the Ginger Factory Train. (I saw some ducks)

We went to Noosa to check out the beach there.

And then I was allowed to swim and play in the sand - yay!!!

We went out for dinner to Mooloolaba and ate pizza.

And then unfortunately we had to say goodbye to our friends and leave them at Brisbane airport. On our way to see Great Grandma again we stopped at the Glasshouse mountains for some more photos.

Then we drove inland through NSW and experienced lots of flies but also went to the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo. Here I am with Dad checking out some of the animals. When I could see them I thought they were great.

We saw a real Galapagos tortoise which was moving around and eating but we sat on a fake one for a photo.

We stopped to hear them talk about the hippos which were cool to look at but I was too tired to listen. It was an exhausting couple of days for me.

We rode around on bikes at the zoo but the camera stopped working at this point so no action shots of this - sorry.
And that has been our adventures for the past few weeks. We got home to find out that I now have another baby cousin called Samuel - yay Auntie Lisa - and I can't wait to meet him. Got to save my money for another trip to NZ now.
